This has been an interesting week for me. Much of it has been spent digging into myself, looking at myself, my faults, my weaknesses, and such. I've been rethinking how I interact with people and how these interactions should be rather than how they are. I am learning to really listen to people, to hear what they are saying and really hear it, if that makes sense. I'm also finally accepting that I don't have all the answers, nor that I need to have all the answers. I have also accepted the fact that I am in need of some humility, particularly before God. These things came up because I friend took it upon herself to point them out to me, and for that I want to say "Thank you" as, though I didn't appreciate it at the time I do now. It's given me a better perspective on who I am and who I need to be. It's like the proverb:

5 Better is open rebuke
than hidden love.

6 Wounds from a friend can be trusted,
but an enemy multiplies kisses.

7 He who is full loathes honey,
but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.
